If you are new to Jopwell, new to our virtual events, or a returning community member, we want to make sure that you are fully equipped and prepared for one of our largest campus events of the year, Jopwell I+D.
The best part? We want to ensure that we are setting you up for success with securing internships now so you can be ready for life post-graduation.
In order to apply for the event, you must be a Jopwell undergraduate member expected to graduate in 2022, 2023, and 2024. This program will primarily focus on students who are looking for resources to develop professional networking skills.
We’ll have various workshops from resume crafting, improving your public speaking skills to more hands-on ones.
Below are a few ways you can prepare for the event.
Make sure your resume is up-to-date — Make sure your resume is updated with your most recent and relevant experience for the jobs that you are interested in.
Be prepared to network, converse, and engage — Interact with the hosts, panelists, and fellow community members. We’ll also have live sessions with partner recruiters to practice your interview skills with.
Follow-up — Make sure to solidify your connections by remembering to follow up with individuals that you meet at the event. Everyone is there to build connections, so don’t be shy.
Bring a notepad — There will be a lot of free education at the event. Come prepared with a notepad so you can jot down learnings.
By the end of the day, our goal is for you to leave with these important questions answered about your professional self:
