As a product manager at Progressive, you’ll have direct ownership over profit and loss (P&L) for a product, state, or territory within one of our business lines (Commercial Lines, Personal Lines Auto, Property, or Special Lines). You’ll identify and execute a strategic plan to position your product, state, or territory for long-term success while analyzing data, leading initiatives, and working cross functionally with different areas of the company such as Legal, Research & Development, Loss Reserving, Pricing, Actuarial, Marketing, Claims, and IT. Additionally, you’ll work with the Department of Insurance on regulations to determine how we can write policies in various states. In this role, you’ll also lead a direct team of analysts and a larger team within a matrix structure.

Must-have qualifications

· Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Math/Actuarial Science or related field of study (e.g. Statistics) or a Bachelor's degree and experience analyzing and interpreting quantitative data to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on that data.

· Minimum of 4 years property casualty insurance experience or related experience (e.g. analytical work in a professional setting).

Compensation

$118,800 - $169,700/year
Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
