Two weeks ago, we dropped an article with jobs for tech majors. This week we’re calling ALL the creatives!! 👩‍🎨

Creatives can range from designers, writers, to photographers to any other form of artist. Despite the many memes and jokes about art/creative majors, creatives are essential to brightening up the world and adding color to society. They provide relief from the real world for others and imbue beauty and perspective to our lives. If you know a creative(s), reassure them that they’re doing a great job because without them the world would be bleak.

Being a full-time creative is a leap of faith. Depending on the industry, it can be incredibly unpredictable. Stability and job security are possible through the many different branches of creative work. For example, a designer can be a fashion designer, graphic designer, interior designer, and so on, which means you can find a 9-5 or be a freelancer. Freelancing requires a bit more hustle as you’ll need to build your own network to find work, but it’ll also allow you the freedom to choose your own clients and schedule. As an entrepreneur you have to create your own opportunities so don’t let that stop you from pursuing your creative career. Following your dreams and getting paid to do what you love is an incredible feeling.

If you haven’t noticed the pattern by now, all of the majors we’ve covered can work in any field, creatives included!
