6 Women Dominating the Tech + Creative Space That You Should Know

Not only is it important to see women of color in high places, but it’s also important to celebrate them. It takes a lot of boldness and resiliency to take charge in an industry that is not only white-dominated but one that is male-dominated.

In 2021, we are still faced with the overt reality that although women make up about 51% of the US population, in over 200 surveyed companies across the country, they only make up 23% of leadership roles. Even with this increase over the past few years, according to a study led by LEAN IN, they determined that women are 21% less likely to be promoted to manager, and Black women are 40% less like than men to be promoted to manager.

Women continue to make significant and impactful changes within organizations and various industries, and it’s important to recognize that.
