Am I eligible to join Jopwell?

Jopwell is a platform for Black, Latino/Hispanic, and Native American students and professionals who have either graduated from, or are currently pursuing, a four-year degree from an accredited US college or university.

If you are a US citizen, but attended school outside of the US, or are a graduate student in the US who received your undergraduate degree outside of the US, you ARE eligible. Send us an email at [email protected] and we’ll help you complete the sign-up process.

I created a profile. Now what? Who will see it?

Welcome to the Jopwell family! Jopwell partner companies can see your profile and you can now:

  • Explore the culture, offices, and opportunities at a wide range of companies on our dedicated partner pages.
  • Apply for jobs, knowing that decision-makers are giving your application the attention it deserves.
  • Get career insights, stories, and inspiration via The Well.
  • Keep an eye out for our invitations to VIP events, where you can meet peers, recruiters, and industry leaders.
How do I start learning about, and applying for, opportunities at Jopwell partner companies?

Our partner company landing page is a great place to start exploring companies and opportunities. Upon creating a Jopwell profile, you can also view and apply for available roles.

Will companies have access to all of the information I share during the sign-up process?

Jopwell partner companies can only see the information visible on your Jopwell profile, which excludes information collected at sign-up pertaining to your racial and gender affiliations. Profiles are only made viewable to Jopwell’s partner companies, and you can click on the profile link on the header to preview your profile as it appears to our partners.

If my current employer is a Jopwell partner company, will they be able to see my profile?

Not if you don’t want them to! You always have the option of blocking a specific partner company/companies from seeing your Jopwell profile.

I’m interested in an opportunity at a Jopwell partner company, but I don’t see it listed on Jopwell.com. What should I do?

Let us know! Once you’ve created a profile, please email [email protected] and tell us the name of the role and the company.

I’m not actively looking for a new job. Should I still create a profile?

Yes! It’s free to sign up for a profile and, as a member of the Jopwell community, you can:

  • Learn: Get career insights, stories, and inspiration via The Well.
  • Connect: Keep an eye out for our invitations to VIP events where you can meet peers, recruiters, and industry leaders.
  • Explore: Familiarize yourself with our partner companies so that, when you are ready for a new opportunity, you know what’s out there!
